 How to make the best human grade dog treat mix!

I don't know about you but I find looking at ingredient lists on my dogs treats to be very confusing and long. I can barely pronounce half of the words on there and some of them are so long I don't even want to bother researching what it is. Most processed foods whether it be human or dog food contains extensive lists on chemicals that probably aren't healthy for us but as if I can find healthier options for myself then I can do the same for my dog, and I have.

Zookies Cookies are an organic, human grade dog treat mix that taste just as delicious as an processed dog treat and their very simple to make. In fact its so simple I probably don't need to be making a whole blog post about it but my dog loves them and I have to share this for other dog owners out there to see so they can give their beloved pets better options.

Ingredients:

• Mix & Water! (trust me its that easy)

So the first step to making these treats is to preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Next, add 1 cup of treat mix to bowl and 1/2 cup of water and mix until the texture is doughy. 

Lay out the dough on a flat surface and roll dough until it is 1/4" thick. 

Use the dog bone cookie cutter that comes with the mix to make cute cut outs.

Place on an ungreased baking sheet and separate 1/2" apart.

Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. 

Let sit for 2 minutes and enjoy!
